Things didn’t start off as I had planned. First of all, the lawn was nice and wet from the sprinklers. Then just as I was setting up a shot with little C, the mis-aimed sprinklers fired on us! We hightailed it out of there and managed to find some very cool areas safe from the sprinklers.
Can you believe the curls on this guy?

Just kidding! It’s really just baby Nathan x4. Although I’d love to do a session with multiples. It would be so fun to photograph multiple little newbies snuggled together. :)
I’m working away on galleries and orders, but I just wanted to share this storyboard of Nathan. I’ve wanted to do something like this for a while, so I’m glad Nathan was up for it.

I had an awesome time today shooting with two fellow photographers Sophie and Gwen. We were scoping out locations and getting some new shots for our respective webpages. It was weird, but kind of fun being in front of the camera for a change.
We definitely attracted some attention from passerbys. One wanted his picture taken with us, and quite a few struck up a conversation with us. We even had onlookers from balconies above. I’m sure it didn’t help that there were three of us running around, and sometimes laying down in the middle of the street (dodging cars).
I can’t wait to do more urban sessions. I really love the different post processing I can do with urban sessions. Plus it’s fun to try something new and different. So who’s up for it?? :)

My son had his fourth birthday party today and he was so surprised when he saw his fantabulous “under the sea” cake. Jenny from Jennywenny Cakes made it. Can you believe all the detail with the coral, shells, and all the different sea creatures? After a zillion rides on Grandpa’s cool pool slide, lunch, some garden railroading, cake, and more swimming, we called it a day. What a fabulous day for a pool party (thanks to a heated pool).

I had the pleasure of photographing such a fun family the other day. Mom and daughter had not seen each other in over a decade. Since Mom’s visit is coming to an end, I was thrilled to be able to provide them with some pictures to remember her visit to the States. The camera clearly loves this family and they had so much fun and were such naturals in front of the camera.
