So I’m attempting to take my own family photos for holiday cards. Today was take two. Take one produced a couple of good images and many many bad ones. Half the time I didn’t make it before the timer went off. Today I was faster and more determined. Unfortunately I think the third time might be the charm. Self portraits with a timer are definitely a challenge, and then add two kids who don’t find a camera on a tripod interesting and a whining husband and you’ve got the recipe for an awkward family photo. I have a idea for next time and I think it’s going to work. I’m even bringing the dog!
